Other watermen out of Deal Island on Maryland’s Eastern Shore have been meeting their limit, bringing in 100 bushels of oysters a day. It’s good news for watermen and the working fleet of deadrises on Deal, where oysters still represent a substantial part of the Bay’s winter economy.
